Organic astaxanthin

The formula is based on pure astaxanthin from the microalgae Haematococcus pluvialis. The valuable plant substance comes from controlled organic cultivation and is embedded in organic olive oil to support stability and good absorption.

Each capsule provides 8 mg of natural astaxanthin in vegan quality.

Astaxanthin belongs to the group of red-coloured carotenoids. These are secondary plant substances that are formed by plants and algae not primarily as food but secondarily as protection against free radicals. They are called antioxidants. Free radicals are caused by environmental influences, excessive sunlight, viruses, bacteria or other threats. They damage plants and algae and must be intercepted and rendered harmless by antioxidants. This is also the case with the algae Haematococcus pluvialis. It acts as an antioxidant by producing the red-coloured carotenoid astaxanthin. It is also called blood rain algae because of its red colour.

Astaxanthin is described as the most powerful antioxidant found in nature to date. The astaxanthin comes from certified organic cultivation. The algae grow in pure mountain spring water, which is also authorised for the production of baby food.

Consumption recommendation

Take 1 capsule daily before meals or as directed by the therapist with plenty of liquid without chewing.
