Not all curcumin is the same!

The quality of a turmeric extract is not determined solely by its total curcuminoid content. Rather, it depends on the natural ratio of the individual curcuminoids. These include curcumin (C1), demethoxycurcumin (C2) and bisdemethoxycurcumin (C3). Together, they form the characteristic phytochemical profile of Curcuma longa.

CURCUMA-BOSWELLIA Extract contains a highly concentrated Curcuma longa extract with a standardised curcuminoid profile. The individual curcuminoids are quantified and documented in each batch using modern HPLC analysis. This ensures that not only the total curcuminoid content but also their composition is transparently traceable – a quality feature that is by no means a given with turmeric extracts.

The current batch has the following concentrations:

• Total curcuminoids: 97.3 %
• C1 = Curcumin >>> 76.2 %
• C2 = Demethoxycurcumin >>> 17.5 %

Not all Boswellia is the same!

Not all grades of frankincense are the same. It is not just the quantity of boswellic acids present that is crucial, but their natural spectrum. Among the most important are α- and β-boswellic acids, their acetylated forms, and the characteristic keto-boswellic acids KBA and AKBA. Together, they form the characteristic phytochemical profile of Boswellia serrata.

CURCUMA-BOSWELLIA Extract contains a highly concentrated Boswellia serrata extract with a standardised boswellic acid profile. The individual fractions are determined and documented in each batch using HPLC analysis. This ensures the highest level of transparency regarding the quality, purity and composition of the frankincense extract used.

More than just turmeric and boswellia
