HISTAmed® Probio Powder

contains the lactic acid bacteria cultures Bifidobacterium infantis and Bifidobacterium longum, which have been proven not to produce histamine. In addition, reactions of the enzyme histamine carboxylase (breaks down the amino acid histidine to histamine) and the H1 receptor (mediates the known allergic reactions of histamine) are suppressed.

HISTAmed® Probio Powder contains the bacterial strains Bifidobacterium breve, Bifidobacterium lactis, Bifidobacterium infantis, Bifidobacterium longum, Lactobacillus gasseri and Lactobacillus rhamnosus. All of these bacterial strains are found in the human intestine. Bifidobacteria and lactobacilli break down sugar, acetic acid and lactic acid in the gastrointestinal tract. This slightly acidifies the intestinal environment, making it difficult for pathogens to multiply. The carefully selected bacterial strains contained in HISTAmed® Probio Powder are able to support the intestinal flora and reduce symptoms caused by a lack of bacteria.

The product is also lactose- and fructose-free and can therefore also be taken by people with these intolerances.

HISTAmed® Probio Powder has a neutral flavour and can be dissolved in almost all drinks or milk-based foods.

Consumption recommendation

When using for the first time, start with one dosing spoon per day and increase to a daily dose of 2-3 dosing spoons (equivalent to approx. 2 g) within 2 weeks.Preferably take before a meal in room-temperature or lukewarm liquid. No exposure time is necessary.
